Ran into Roderick (aka Steven) at the con (Link), who in turn ran into this Zelda, who was doing her first cosplay ever. I'm impressed. Had an nice time hanging out with them.
Scadian from Tir Righ. Took the picture for Luke, he heartily approved... Apparently he's trying to start some sort of late 18th century thing in his area, but is not having much success.
Incredible.
So this lighting guy (at the Smile.dk concert, they were kinda meh)did all of the lights by hand. He didn't have submasters. He just knew which buttons did what, and made them match the music in real time. It was incredible!

This girls costume was neat because she was wearing a leotard, but it looked sort of like she was topless... it was just really well put together (the character she's cosplaying is a guy I think)
Steampunk the way I would want to do it. Sort of.

I had fun, but I don't think anime cons are my thing. It was fun, but I'm only marginally interested in anime and Japanese culture. I'm thinking my next con should either be a steam con or scifi con.
