1 - Supernatural
2 - Alias
3 - Once Upon A Time
4 - Roswell
5 - Buffy
Who’s your favourite character in 2?
I loved Will Tippin (Bradley Cooper), although he was only in it for a couple of seasons.
Who’s your least favourite character in 1?
Metatron - I think he’s the only character I’ve actually hated in the show.
What’s your favourite season of 5?
Season 2, closely followed by Season 3. The high school seasons of Buffy were the ones that defined the show for me and after that it was never quite the same. Also seasons 2 and 3 got me through a majorly tough time when I was 16 - people talk about SPN saving their lives, but for me it was Buffy. I was suffering with depression and pretty much the only thing that kept me going was anticipating the new episodes each week.
What’s your favourite ship in 3?
Don’t really have a favourite ship in Once Upon a Time.
Who is your anti-ship in 2?
Don’t really have one - I shipped Sydney/Vaughan, but that was about it.
How long have you watched 1?
I started watching in July 2011, when I bought the S1-5 boxset… so I started from the beginning with Season 1 and worked my way up to the beginning of Season 7 by October 2011.
How did you become interested in 3?
I had seen it advertised but wasn’t sure about it, but then I found out that one of my brother’s best friends from primary school (and a good family friend of ours) was in season 3… so I decided to give it a go so I could see him in it. I started with the S1 DVD around Sept 2013 and got caught up within a few weeks.
Who’s your favorite actor in 4?
Hard to say - they were all pretty young when they were in the show and still learning - probably either Colin Hanks or Nick Weschler.
Which show do you prefer: 1, 2, or 5?
Wow - they are my 3 biggest favourites and all have significance at different times in my life. I would have to go with the order I wrote them: 1 (current favourite and best of all of them, at least it used to be), then 2 (favourite show while I was at uni), followed by 5 (favourite show and big influence on me from age 16).
Which show have you seen more episodes of: 1 or 3?
I’ve seen all of the episodes of both of them, but as 1 has 198 episodes aired so far and 3 is only on episode 70, I have to go with 1.
If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?
Probably Liz Parker - Liz/Max was my main ship and fanfic pairing for 5 years
How would you kill off your favorite character in 2?
He almost died a few times during the show :P. I would probably have him get dragged into a life-or-death mission and have to sacrifice himself for the cause.
Give a random quote from 1.
“You better take care of that car. Or, I swear, I'll haunt your ass.”
Would a 3/4 crossover work?
Hmm, not sure - a show about aliens in New Mexico crossing over with a show about fairytale characters from the Enchanted Forest? Well, Emilie de Ravin is in both of them, so there could be some character crossover… maybe Tess isn’t dead after all and is now posing as Belle?
Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple.
Ooh… how about Demon!Dean and Abaddon? Dean gets the Mark with the sole purpose of killing her, thinks he’s killed her, becomes a demon, but she's not dead after all (or doesn't stay dead) and they get together and wreak havoc in hell :P.
Has 5 inspired you in any way?
Definitely - it pretty much defined my life between the ages of 16 and 21. If it wasn’t for Buffy keeping me going and giving me something to live for and hope for (in the Buffy/Angel relationship), I might not be here today. It was the show that introduced me to fandom and to fanfic. I didn’t actually write any fic until I entered the Roswell fandom, but I read it religiously in the Buffy fandom.
Overall, which show has a better cast: 2 or 4?
I’d say 2. The cast of 4 were still mainly teenagers when they were on the show and some of them were pretty terrible actors at that time. It was a WB show for teenagers with a teenage cast. On the other hand, 2 was a JJ Abrams show on ABC, aimed at adults with an adult cast and some wonderful actors and even several A-list guest stars.
Which has better theme music: 3 or 5?
Definitely 5. 3 doesn’t really have any proper theme music - just a title card - while Buffy’s theme music is pretty iconic :).
I just read
quickreaver’s answers for this - and I can’t believe I forgot about Game of Thrones!
