Impromptu con attendance - Asylum 13!

Last week, I kept seeing all the Tweets of SPN cast members travelling to London/BIrmingham for Asylum 13 - a con I had decided not to go to, mainly because I was working and couldn't take any time off - and with the amazing guest list this year (most of whom I hadn't met yet), all the Tweets were making me really, really want to go!

Thanks :). Yeah, it probably wasn't the best idea to fit it all in, especially as I can get bad headaches/migraines if I don't get enough sleep after a night shift and then try to do too much :).

Not sure how work will be tonight - we have the remnants of Hurricane Gonzalo coming through tomorrow, so that means strong/gale-force winds and rain to contend with :P!

Yes, it probably wasn't the most wise decision, but I couldn't help myself :P. I had been umming and ahhing about it for months - deciding not to go, then looking into it, then realising I couldn't take time off so not bothering (I already had 2 weeks off last month for DallasCon, plus a week off last week for my brother's wedding) etc. - but when it came to it, I just had to be there.

If there had only been a small number of guests like last year at A11, which only had Travis Wester, Chad Lindberg, Tyler Johnston (and a last-minute addition of David Ramsey from Arrow), I wouldn't have bothered, but the guest list this year was too good to pass up - Tahmoh had been scheduled to appear as well, but he had to cancel due to filming commitments and they replaced him with Adam Rose, then announced Lindsay just a few days ago.
