Oh, how beautiful. Not only am I not completely fond of the Vietnam/Thailand pairing, which is very under represented in this fandom, but which you execute so well.

The symbolism the funeral creates is excellent. I love how it's Thailand who helped Vietnam finally remove the body, just like he was the one who helped... remove France from her heart, I suppose.

This is the first time I heard about the Dolphin funeral. It's so heart wrenching. Glad to hear there are traditions out there where people respect nature's death. ;-;

Using the tradition to represent time/years that passed by was good. It tells the readers that something had happened in those years, especially when it comes to France not being there in the second scene. Kudos to you. :3
