trial's over, weapons found

this time off has been more uneventful as i'd like to admit.
there was practically no good shows to see, with the exception of mission of burma. i'm glad i've never contributes any money to radio-sponsored or clear channel productions. all the must-see shows are happening in the fall. thank heavens i only three days of classes.
sept 20 - built to spill & meat puppets (svo, matt, jeff, and i are going together)
sept 29 - robert pollard
oct 10 - wire
oct 12 - jonathan richman
oct 25 - deerhoof
pretty sweet if i do say so myself. hopefully i'll have the money to go to the october shows. fingers crossed.
steve and i going to the zoo next saturday, which i am hype for. good thing, i'll have my new camera by then.
i was supposed to go to work at 7am this morning, but at the last minute when we're closing they told me that i didn't have to come in. there is no sense in complaining as i should be grateful about not having to wake up by 6am, but i wake up at that time naturally. so it throws my day off. besides today is vanessa's birthday and she, ethel, and i wanted to celebrate the only way visual specialists know how to do --- by working at 7am and taking in russian accents. good thing i gave her the card i made for her.

i know i rule   besides that, i'm glad that steve and i getting along better than we have been. sometimes old habits and inconsiderations die hard, but the love that is there always prevails. that is all that matters, really.
somehow i have to find the motivation to leave the house and do some errands. my domesticated self would rather stay in  and fold laundry.
