Being back at school is better than I expected! I didn't feel like coming back originally but now that I am back it just feels right again.
Classes are still going great, I took a Physiology quiz yesterday (93%) and besides that, my English midterm today was ugly. Ugh. It was the hardest exam I have ever taken, which is saying something. I spent hours studying, and I already understood everything in the class - It was just an impossible exam. Everyone walked out of that room with a depressed look on their face. It will be fine when I know what I got and how to make it better. I guess I will learn from this or whatever :P
I handed in all my applications, and I have my URI 101 Mentor interview for tomorrow! I am nervous and excited. I hope it goes well. Then next Monday I have my interview to be a Tour Guide. I hope I get that one too, but if I don't that is fine because I have my other job. It would just be nice to be a Tour Guide because it helps improve public speaking skills.
I am also meeting with the pre-med advisor this week, and working on organization stuff for the GSA. Day of Silence is coming, and we are planning an event on campus or possibly at Rhody Joes. It should be great :)
I can't wait to pick up my car and register it this week!!! I am so excited :)
Marisa and I had a 3 hour conversation today, which felt really really nice. She is coming back June 11th! Eep :) Can't wait!!!! It's so crazy that me and her have been together for 6 months now. :)
Tonight was really good too. After my stressful midterm, I was pretty bummed but after talking to Marisa and spending time with my friends, I felt so much better. I went over to Spooner's dorm tonight with Sean, Tiff, and Spooners roommate, and we all watched Megamind which is SUCH a funny movie! I laughed about every 3 minutes. After we were silly and were practicing Michael Jackson moves and Tiff was getting everyone to practice a softball stance. Basically, we were just goofing around and having a lot of fun. They are some of the best people I know. I really love them and appreciate them in my life <3
Me and Tiffany did our housing application today, and we are also applying to live in the Women in Leadership Living Learning Community in the Womens Center next year. I already applied and am touring it tomorrow with the lady who got back to me. I hope it works out, it would be pretty cool. They do a service learning project as a group once a semester and it seems like a productive, focused place to live. I won't know for another month exactly where I will be living next year, but it's all in the process.
I will also hopefully be going dress shopping with my Aunt Kriss soon. Miss her!
And I will soon post pictures from the Nursing Denim and Diamonds event I went too. It was a lot of fun :)
Me and the gang are planning some epic summer adventures. We are planning to go to Provincetown (Sean's family owns an apartment right in town), and then either a road trip, a theme park, camping, to NYC or Boston, to the Jersey Shore to stay in a shotty hotel, or to someplace random. And of course, making 1:00am ice cream runs to CVS in with the top down in Tiffany's convertible :) (That was the best part of TD last summer.)
In other news, Dr. Cailly Torres from Grey's Anatomy is dancing around on the show in her underwear, so that now requires my full attention.
I hope everyone is doing extremely well and is enjoying how it is (slowly) getting more warm!!!
(Especially to Kerstin, I'm sorry NH is so cold!!)
