paranoia...
I made a delicious cabbage & rice dish last night. And then it decided to give me the most bizarre dreams I've had in a while.
Which has now caused my waking thoughts to be somewhat (extremely) paranoid. When I got home yesterday, there was a business card on my front door from an investigator at the GlobalOptions Group Fraud & SIU Services. At 1:00am I got a text from a number not in my address book saying nothing but "Hi!" Not that "Hi!" or business cards are particularly menacing or anything. But, for whatever reason, they've both set me on edge.
Furthermore, my clock radio gets a little staticky from time to time. This morning when the alarm (which is set to radio) went off, out came very strange static like none I've heard before, really, and then -- without even moving (which is usually what fixes the static) -- it faded into normal talking. Not like crackled into the normal station. But, like, somebody turned the volume down on the static and then turned up the volume on the normal talking.
Very strange.
I think the aliens are angry I removed the egg...
