Already my dad's getting emails meant for me. And my letter for the new faculty orientation began "Dear Mr. R______". It's going to be an interesting year...

I am not thrilled to have another 8AM class. Nor am I overly excited about teaching through lunch/in the afternoon, but I don't normally die out 'til 2:00, so I should be okay. One hopes -- haha. Plus, three preps & four classes isn't bad at all. I should really get started on prepping, though. Classes begin the 23rd of August...

I should go wash dishes now, and so I'll leave you with a happier note than one which is work-related...

It is absolutely glorious outside right now, and Lennie's sitting on the desk, looking out the window. Earlier, crows were caw-cawing and he was mimicking them. Well, trying to mimic them. It was very cute.
