If pressed for NaNo ideas, I can always write a TeniPuri wuxia AU fic where random things happen, including Tezuka receiving a lion-headed-staff from his loving disciples, and Ryouma ordering Hyoutei roses for Rikkai just to annoy Sanada. (I - I'm lame, okay)

Bakuman. Any of you read it? It's by Ooba Tsugumi and Obata Takeshi, the two-person team that did Death Note. So far, it offers a very interesting glimpse at the process of being a professional mangaka, though I can't say how realistic it is. There are only eight chapters so far, so you can still catch up if you're interested.
