Saint Seiya: The CGI movie continues to startle everyone. First with a bespectacled Mu, then with the cast list. I think Okamoto makes a better Shun than Kamiyan, though

Funny thing is that I started from writing original stories, moved to fanfic and then move back to writing originals, assuming I actually write anything. I don't really miss writing fanfiction, though, save for that one fanfic about Severus Snape I'm trying to finish. But well, the work comes first >.>

How did the revising go?

I'm the same, original to fanfic to original again. Though I'd really like to write more fanfics, if possible for fandoms other than StS. Fanfic is great practice for stepping into characters' shoes.

The revising this entry refers to went pretty well. Two characters are initially named Trisha and Carla :D Then I figured, rather than have my anime-savvy readers side-eye me, I'd just replace Carla with another, more Indonesian name.

I can only step into some particular characters' shoes, to be honest.

You got me XD Didn't really make the connection to anime at first... until I read the other part of the comment. And then I started to think if there was any Carla in FMA XD
BTW, I once used Apollon, Tiger and Bunny in one student assignment. No student caught on the connection :(

We can't do all the characters we like justice, it's true. Sometimes we like them because we don't fully understand them.

Using the names of two famous dead anime mothers is not something a writer should get away with. :D
