Helena had to admit that coming here was not kind to her nerves. She tensed as she mounted the old steps of the Crane house. It hadn't been easy to find, but she'd wanted to see the place. The house was certainly impressive, almost reminiscent of Wayne Manor.
Speaking of Wayne Manor, she'd have to go by and pay Mr. Wayne a visit. The man was getting old, and he'd taken such good care of her after her mother died... He always waved her off when she apologized for not visiting, but with Mr. Grayson having been gone so long, Helena always felt like he must get rather lonely in that big house. Even with a butler there, she felt sure it was lonely.
Helena took a deep breath and grasped the knocker on the door of the Crane house. Hopefully Joshua wouldn't mind her just dropping by... She had a perfect story in mind if his mother or father answered the door, even though she hoped she'd timed her visit for when Dr. and Mrs. Crane would be out.
