SURVIVAL OF THE ARACHNID
i saw one of the most amazing things today! ok i was out on the back deck, and saw a tiny newborn spider in the middle of his tiny web. well i knew that when you touch a spider in a web they fall on a "bungee" line of silk for fear of being eaten. i poked her, watched her fall, then watched her climb back up her safety line. well when she reached the top, she landed on one of the sticks her web was anchored to, just then, out of no where a jumping spider sprang out on the stick and grabbed her, immediately sinking it's fangs into the baby spider. it was awesome and sad at the same time.
