(no subject)
monday was a COMPLETE shitshow.
i went to class in the morning then picked up EB and we went to Chris & Kristin's house.
we had our first drinks at 11:30am and then we were off to start the days festivites.
we parked the car and walked to the Camden Pub to redeem our free beer & pit sandwiches...rain & all
a couple other people from hopkins were there too so we met up with them.
shortly after the rain stopped and we walked to pickles pub around 1.
this is where the day starts to get a little foggy.
We drank a lot, i know that much. It was 2 for $5 16oz. cans of Miller Lite & Hard Iced Teas
then Kristin & I found an empty cooler and brought it back to all the guys...who naturally took it to the beer stand and filled it up, so pretty much we had free beer all day.
some time around 3:45 we thought it'd be smart to actually go IN to the stadium.
I don't really recall actually walking in to camden yards, or trying to find our seats...or the entire first 7 innings of the game for that matter haha.
It was all a blur of drinking, screaming FUCK-THE-YANK-EES!, cheering, and going to the bathroom because we all broke the seal too early in the day.
the orioles KILLED the yankees, thank god.
after the game we stumbled around a bit then went to the Ale House for dinner & more drinks.
only by this point i was so ridiculously hung over that i only drank half my sangria and ate zero of my dinner.
my head was pounding so hard i thought someone was hitting a bass drum on my head.
i got home by 11:15pm and passed out in my bed completely clothed (after drinking 2 bottles of water and taking 3 advil)
by far the BEST OPENING DAY EVER!
so that was monday.
tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and today (friday) - i have officially spent ZERO DOLLARS! $0
thats amazing! i haven't even bought lunch! i've gotten lunch on campus with my onecard, i brought my lunch one day, my boss bought everyone lunch yesterday, and today was potluck at work.
and i haven't gone out to dinner at all because wednesday & thursday we had passover sedar, and tuesday is usually family dinner night. and today has been super lame in terms of anyone doing anything tonight.
overall, i've had an EXTREMELY successful week.
and now i'm house/dogsitting for the weekend & watching nick & norah's infinite playlist.
so not only have i spent $0, but i'm making $60 this weekend.
