2008 Year-in-Review

Happy New Year's everyone! Well here's my summary on 2008, which I have to say, was a pretty good year. Of course, there have been some frustrations, annoyances, and humiliation, and the biggest downside of the year is that I'm still single. But the upside is that it left me with plenty of spare income to fund all the adventures that made 2008 so great:

1. I drove some supercars (ie 2 Ferraris, a Lamborghini, a Porsche, and a Callaway) through Napa's wine country.
2. I went for a flight in a WWII B-17 bomber.
3. Comic Con was a blast, as always.
4. I went to the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca, and got the autograph of the legendary Mario Andretti.
5. My Z club and I went on our biggest road trip to date, spanning 8 days, to and from Colorado. We took a boat ride up the Colorado River, and a train ride into the Colorado mountains.
6. I drove out to Vegas, to do a cameo scene as Speed Racer in a small indie film.
7. I finally got my Z running good, and just barely passes smog.

Some of these adventures were things that I just had to do once in my life. Now, I think my resolution for this new year should be to find me a "classy" woman. I'm beginning to think it's going to be an extremely rare thing to find nowadays, but maybe someone'll prove me wrong...
