Ah...Yeah, I feared this, but i'm considering staying at Perris Lake. I mean, I doubt it'll hurt to stay like 5 more months, then i'll graduate and i'll be able to go look for a job. Haha, actually, i'm doing it for all the wrong reasons LOL! I'm gonna stay so that I can get closer to someone >_>; Bwha! Anyways! Nothing much happened today, it was kinda boring, I had more fun yesterday.
Someone from the Art Institute at Orange County came over to our school. I loved his presentation, I thought it was awesome, and he seemed like a cool guy, I was talking to him for a while after class. He gave me a thing to fill out so I can go check out the school and get an application. I told him I wanted to illustrate the characters for videogames, he said where he took classes was the perfect place for me since they have "connections" lol!! I was like "AWESOME X3!" So yeah, he gave me some paperwork to fill out, I filled out with no hesitation. He asked if I drew stuff, I said yes XD Then he asked if he could see so I showed him, well, he liked my stuff, I was happy. As I was closing my folder some Sonic the Hedgehog illustrations fell out, I felt my heart stop cuz I keep those secret, well he picked them up and asked why I didn't show him that stuff, I kinda laughed with embarrassment lol! Then he went on and said that the designs I had were real nice, that they could even hook me up, and that the art institute would gladly accept me. Haha I died.
So yeah, I gave him ALL my info. Hopefully this was God saying,"HEY KIDD! LOOK WHAT I GOT FOR YA!" *throws art institute flavored pie at Moo*
Moo?: Delicioso!
So yes, good thing that happened today, I hope it'll work out, he was talking about scholarships and financial aid and stuff, I got kinda confused there, but basically he was telling us not to worry, that it didn't matter whether we had bad grades, that we shouldn't give up, that even if we did have bad grades we should give it a chance. He was saying how they gave millions of dollars worth of scholarships to kids whom they saw were "worthy", To them this means someone who is actually serious about doing what they love, well, that's me!
