Derek Ray Myers is Twenty One.
My Brother is now 21 today on this wonderlous March 2, 2005. Another day older, but somehow 21 sounds so old. It felt like yesterday we were still living one room down from each other yelling, wrestling, telling each other to grow up. I coulda told anyone a few years ago that Derek was the most annoying boy ever, that you were just the immaturest of all people to walk this Earth. That he played his music way too loud at 1 oclock in the afternoon and i was still sleeping. Well, that might not change ;).
But middle school is definitely gone..over and done with (thank goodness!) and now i could tell anyone that Derek is my favorite guy, my bestest buddy, and I love him so mucho. I look up to him in that little sister way and I take his advice from boy trouble to even schoolwork.
Yes, I said Derek Myers helps me with school.
He is probably the only one that has been with me through all the mess in my life. I always appreciate his calm and realistic responses on everything that I make hectic in my life.
I just I hope I'm 1/2 the sister to him that he is a brother to me.

What made things so spectacular: 68-66 baby.
Last night I saw the most awesome game ever. There is no words to explain how excited I got,none. I swear my heart jumped out of my chest. The last two shots, Olu finally making his three and Ford to dunk it the last seconds to score the winning point and everyone rushing the court. For that to be their Senior Night, I mean, how incredible is that? If that's not memorable, I do not know what is.
Plus, i won my two bets.
Two dinners with two Hokies.

If we beat GT, I think my hope for the Tigers is back on.
