Last update on Tom's mother (I hope!)
She's been out of the hospital for a few days. I wanted to wait for a bit to ensure she wasn't going to turn around and go right back in. :) She's been back at home and taking it easy. The AVM(arteriovenous malformations) in her small intestine appear to have self-corrected. (She had several that were cauterized during her first hospital the previous week.) While she was in the hospital during her two stays, she received approximately 9 pints of blood. That's a goodly amount.
She's thankful to be at home. The entire time she was going through this, she was craving to be at home and have a juicy steak and baked potato. She got her dinner on Wednesday.
