day before italy
wow, it is about 8:50 and i woke up about a half hour ago. i think it is amazing when your body just goes "hello, you are ready to be awake so get up you lazy bones you!" and of course my body speaks to me in an atroscious british accent. so now i am up waiting for my prilosec to kick in before i eat and drink my morning cup o' joe and it is amazingly gorgeous from my window and i wish that i could sit outside, alas i am still sun burnt so i will have to sit on the sidelines in the shade. i am going to memorize the last bits of falstaff and make sondra go through the opera with me all the way to italy. i hope we have good inflight movies.
my grandmother emailed me from canada this morning with this truly hilarious story about my crazy aunties (who all have liverpuddlian british accents) playing lawn bowling, whatever that is, and about my aunt kath putting bug spray on, thinking that it was sunscreen, she had no bug bites and was a little tan. oh my grandparents are so cute i can't even stand it!
anyway, today i have to consolidate my loans, xerox some music, do laundry at sondra's, drop off my rent check, go to the drug store, finish packing, and the piece de resistance BAT MAN!!! i am so pumped! i have been waiting for it to come out since december! okay. i'm gonna go eat now! have a loverly day everybody!
