So Land of the Dead was all gorey, allegory and I loved it. Mucho political and social commentary. The birds were a great symbol and hurray for evolving zombies.
Saturday night went relatively well. After Jason, the house ape, passed out, things were calm and funny and drunken and great. Nathan and Katie popped over and stayed much longer than intended for the Nathan and Rian show. My abs still hurt from laughing. But then, I did nearly piss myself by making the "turkeys have legs" joke to Shannon ... who is the best b/c she laughed really hard, too. Survived hangover yesterday. Was a great entrance to our self-imposed exile from society. Great to hang with lots of dallas peeps and new denton folks and be ridiculously drunk. Yay.
Work is still hellish but I've got a resume up on monster.com. Hopefully something good will open up soonish!
