i love my friends.
i go back to cali tomorrow. i'm attempting to pack as much stuff as possible. i have to get rid of a lot of things, which sucks.
the other day, jonas took his computer to Arni and Beta's house, and let me watch (on skype) them open all the presents, with all the baby clothes, and presents from christmas. It was so wonderful. Their genuine appreciation for what I had done for them was one of the best feelings in the world. I could never have asked for more sincere people, more loving friends, or better people to have as a part of my family.
Jonas and his mom, Helga called me today, and chatted with me for a bit. She called me her daughter in law, and I almost cried. I love these people so very much, I am overwhelmed with loss that I can't be there with them now. I will be back there VERY soon. And in August we will go to the summerhouse. All 4 of us, the best of friends, the best of family (beta, arni, jonas and I oh!! and Joi!!!) and it will be just like last year, it was amazing.
Joi Litli was also born, Beta and Arni's baby, and oh man is he beautiful. I am so filled with happiness. It's amazing that so much can go on, and I can still be a part of it, being so far away for a little while.
