Full Update Here
I know I always say I'll get better at this updating of my journal, but I don't. So yeah, here's the much needed update for the past month.
Brooke and I are both 19 now, yeah! We can go clubbing, whohoo! She got her new car, it's really awesome and has the coolest alarm on it.(you'd have to hear it to understand) Um...what else...oh yeah I got a new car too! It's a 2001 Chev. Malibu LS and I like it a lot. The sunroof is so much fun and it has a lot of power, more than the Sunfire anyways. I do miss my Sunfire, but not enough to get it back.lol Brooke, Doug, Jeff, and I all went to Schamburg one day and had so much fun. We went to the mall, IKEA, and the Rainforest Cafe. We had a great time that day and really enjoyed every minute. We fell in love with the fish in the tank next to us at the Rainforest Cafe. I wonder how they are doing?lol Plus, we all spent so many days and nights at Brooke's house hanging out before everyone had to go back home. It seems weird to not see Jeff everyday now, we all miss you Jeff!
One night I let Katie dye my hair which was very interesting. First I spilled the dye on the cabinet and floor and it looked like there was blood everywhere...then Katie put some of the color on my hair and her first reaction was, "Oh, uh...hm..okay, well I dunno Heather." This made me feel very comfortable!lol But actually it didn't turn out bad at all and I had some red in my hair for awhile. It's basically all gone now though. A few days later Doug had me do the same to his hair. I thought it looked good, but he didn't like it so now it's a honey color which looks cool too. Several nights Doug and I had movie nights at my house just hanging out in my room watching movies, it was fun. Also, Katie, Doug, and I went chasing calls one night and discovered Gulic Street. Never go down there! Plus we saw some half naked guy walking to and around Road Ranger at like 1am, it was very interesting let me tell yah.
I found out that I might be an aunt in the beginning of the year. My brothers ex-girlfriend is pregnant..about a month and a half along..so we'll find out soon who's it is. I know that doesn't sound the greatest, but it's the truth. I'm excited about the fact I could be an aunt, I would so spoil this kid, that's for sure. So I can't wait to find out!!
Work at Kirlins has been going good and I've gotten a lot more hours. They all keep giving me a hard time about leaving and say they're not going to let me. Their plan is to tie me up and not let me go. I told them I have a box cutter knife in my work apron so, watch out!lol No, I'll miss them and I think it's sweet they don't want me to leave, but sorry, no ropes around me!
I got a second job at Krogers and tried it out. Orientation was boring, but okay. Then yesterday I worked all day, so this is what I've concluded. I hate working at Krogers. That job didn't last too long.lol I don't have to have it so it's not a big deal, but there was no way I would've kept it anyways it was so horrible. I can tell you the code for cantaloupe and bananas though b/c I sold so many freakin' of those. Cantaloupe are 4050 and Bananas are 4011.
I gave Cubby a haircut at home and well, he looks okay I guess. My mom wasn't upset or anything so he must not look too bad. I bought one of these dog grooming kits at WalMart and cut his hair. It was sooo long! So at least he isn't as hot now b/c seriously when I was done cutting his hair I had a whole garbage bad full of hair and then some. No joke, it was crazy!
A quick note to you all, Doug and I went and saw "Mr.and Mrs.Smith" and it was great. So if any of you are thinking about going to see it, do it! You'll love it, they're great together in this movie and it's funny, sweet, and action packed. I know I sound like a commercial now, but I really liked it.
My mom had to quit her job at Catepillar because she kept getting really sick from all the fumes in the factory with her asthma. Her health was getting worse and worse and it just wasn't worth it to have her deal w/ all that. I've helped her apply for a couple jobs online and she's sent out several resumes to places so I hope she finds a good job for herself. She had an interview today at this Eyecare place in Lenscrafters today at the mall. She'll find out tomorrow if she got the job or not. I just hope everything works out for her. She's been such a great mom lately, not that she never was...but she's just been extra supportive now and I really appreciate it all. I know I've said a lot of crap about my mom in the past, but who hasn't? But yeah, I wish her the best.
Okay my fingers are starting to tingle I've been typing so much.lol I think this is a long enough post for now. I think I got most of the highlights in there for you about the past month, but I'm sure I've forgotten a lot. Oh well, you'll hear about it later...goodnight!
