I'm a certified substitute teacher!!!
I have received my temporary work permit and temporary certificate to be a teacher's aide and/or a substitute teacher. All I needed was proof of a HS diploma and proof of a BA. Actually, for the teacher's aide, all I needed was like 30-60 semester hours and the diploma. Oh yeah, I also needed to pay $50, but I can earn up to $80 in one day, subbing. Pretty sweet! Sometime soon, they're going to do a background check, which is no problem. Thank goodness for LiveScan machines, so you don't have to have black ink on your fingers--which sometimes doesn't come off for days.
