Happy Belated Independence Day!
Another day at work. At least it's raining and dreary so I don't feel so bad about being back. Yesterday was a really nice day but extremely hot. Jeff came over and we hung out by my pool for a while. We made fun of the other people that were down there. This one girl, I think she may have been 17, I felt so sorry for her. She was so ditzy that I'm surprised she's lived to see the age of 17. We left around 4 so we could grab a bite to eat. Both of us ended up a little burned. My arms and my shoulders are red and tender today and his face was red last night. But he tans so easily that it'll be brown by today.
After we ate, he went home to shower then we sat around and watched tv for about an hour before we went downtown to see the fireworks. We showed up a little early so we ended up walking to Pal's. Bad idea. Everyone in Kingsport was there. It didn't take too long, all we got were teas then we walked back to his car. Amanda called when we were heading home so we swung into Krispy Kreme and yakked for a couple of minutes.
Now I'm sitting at work wishing the day would just be over with. I'm down Greenland again today and tomorrow. Then I should be back in Kingsport for a while. I only have the rest of this week and then 4 days next week to work, then Jeff and I will be heading for Ohio. I'm really looking forward to it. I need a mini vacation. Plus I need to have a talk with Jeff. I plan on doing that on the car ride down there.
Anywho, I've gotta run and work here for a while then I'm going to work in Kingsport later this afternoon. Sigh, work work work.
