On the circus, we used to make these bows out of the sticks we put inflatible toys up with by stringing about six rubber bands together from both tips. It was pretty strong and if you used another of the sticks as an arrow you could get it pretty far. The target of choice was always a empty cardboard boxes that the circus toy stock would come in. Most of the times our makeshifts weapons would make huge holes in the cardboard. That being bad enough we’d turn the weapons on each other and leave little bruises on each other if we actually managed to hit what we were aiming at . Mind you these were a bunch of wild twelve year olds who wouldn’t even stop firing at each other if another circus performer happened to get caught in the middle.
Well the whole reason for explaining that was what my little ten year old brother had the misfortune of trying to do today. My sister had recently made one the old bows we had as kids and put it in my toy box to play with. My brother found it and tried to aim it at me, which I quickly disarmed him of before someone got hurt. Then turned it on him and fired. Like when I was a kid the arrow went completely in the opposite direction with my brother still coming at me with two regular sticks. Four broken sticks and long stick shaped bruises later and my brother rethought the stick war while I went and tried to pretend my new marks didn’t sting like hell.
So this is the last day of the tour, after this we are on our way home. I will put away the blue and purple eyeshadow for a good part of the year and leave my rhinestone covered clothing in the closet. I do have plenty of the show footage I promised. Lol, took me the entire tour to actually remember to do it.
I’ve been really bad about my travel log this year and I’m sorry. Turned out so much was happening this year I didn’t have time. Also sorry to my friends at Quillings. I haven’t even had time to read anything.
I have to send out Christmas presents and dog tags, the mail ones may be late and I’m sorry if they are. I have to wait till I get home on the 18th to send them out.
Haha, I’m writing this in advance right before the show starts with a bag of blue cotton candy at hand because I know it won’t get posted if I don’t.
