Fairytale of New York

In about 8 hours, I'm gettin on a stinky bus and headin' towards the Big Apple. I don't really know what to expect once I get there. I've been told, though, that the first thing I will be doing is eating a hot dog at some famous hot dog place. Jay is picking me up from the station and taking me there right after. I don't really like hot dogs, but I'll deal. I don't even know if Jay wants to hang out with me while I'm there. He sounded pretty enthusiastic about it when I first told him of my plans, but now he just seems apathetic about the whole thing. Oh well, he's picking me up, so I guess he cares enough to do that. I'd like to meet his brother too. He always speaks so highly of him... so it'd be nice to finally see the guy he talks about so much. Dylan gets out of class at like 9:45.... I will prob meet up with him soon after that. I hope he gets at least one day to hang out with me. Not that I will mind just hanging out at night, but it'd be nice to walk around the city at least once during the day. He told me to pack for cold weather. I'm super excited about that. I'm tired of being fucking hot all the time. I'm ready for the winter!

On that note, I will most likely be moving to TX in December. Maybe later depending on my plans. I would like to be here for New Years... just to party with the LR folks one last time I guess. I'm gonna be sad to leave a lot of these people. And not really b/c I'm good friends with them, but b/c they are just pretty bad ass for the most part. They've all treated me pretty damn good considering I'm 7 years younger than a lot of them. But hey... everyone's gotta get out of here at some point... might as well be now and it might as well be texas. I'll be going to school down there. They have some kick ass photography classes at this particular school I was looking at. So I'm pretty stoked about that. Anyway, I guess I had less to say than I thought.... I'll try to give an exciting encounter of my NY trip (good or bad) later.
