I'm Back and Alive

Intense is really the only word I can think of to describe the past 3 weeks. Tour started off with a bang. Literally... Sophia & Leeza got into a fight the first night of tour, which led to 2 people being dumped like trash in Nashville. We played with Dave Cloud & the Gospel of Power... which consisted of a noise band backing up a 50+ man in a leisure suit, violently humping the air and floor while singing of party girls. Amazing.... can't wait to see them again. New York came around eventually. My first time in the big city. We stayed in a squat with several squatters. They were really cool kids. I hope to visit them again soon. It's an amazing place. The building used to be a YMCA. Walking around in the dark trying to find the basement was an adventure. Hell, getting into it was an adventure. Sneaking around, trying to avoid letting anyone see you break into a fence. I loved it! I went to the beach in Long Island and got sand up my butt... I suppose that's not so intense. However, trying to remove it was. I cut my hair. It's really, really short. Just a little past my ears. I've never had it this short, so it's taking some time to get used to. I like it I guess.... I just look 12. Jay got a free van from Sophia's dad. We had to pull over about 10 times on the way to Johnson CIty, TN from Maryland. The transmission kept slipping and and we had to fill it with fluid each time we stopped b/c there was a leak. It did have a CD player, but it only worked for half of the trip. SO we had to deal with bad radio hits for a lot of the way home.

ALl in all, I had a pretty fucking good time. If it weren't for the people I met, I think I would have had a miserable time. Anyway, that's the very long story cut very short.
