Mom: "So I'm taking the 23rd and 24th off for my birthday weekend, do you think you can ask Lamine to give you the 25th off?"
Me: "Sure, it shouldn't be a problem."
Mom: "What did you want to do?"
Me: "MONKEYS!!"
Mom: *laughs* "We can do monkeys. We haven't been to the zoo in ages."
Me: "We can see monkeys and snakes and bats and the elephants even though they stink and the polar bears...but there's no dinosaurs at the zoo!"
Mom: "No, but they might have stickers or--"
Me: "HEY! We could go to the...aww, but there's no monkeys at the tar pits! I just can't win!!"
lol. Mom and I will be going to the La Brea Tar Pits for her birthday. I guess the closest thing to monkeys would be the wooly mammoth, they're like elephants with monkey fur.
