Ok, so I had a really great weekend. Friday night Ethan spent the night because it was his birthday and he wasn't getting to do anything special. He's always really good when he comes over and stays here which makes me happy even though after a while he starts to get on my nerves. We originally had plans to meet with Dad and Ethan at 7 to eat Chinese but dad called at 6:15 to tell me his truck wouldn't start so I needed to go buy Auto Zone and pick up a starting motor. I did, but once he got it put on it didn't work. After he went to Central City AZ and raised hell he ended up driving to Madisonville AZ to get one. It was so late when he got back with my car that we settled for SONIC and came home to watch Family Guy.
Saturday morning I went to get my nails done but there were so many people in there I decided to wait. So I came back here and got Jason and Ethan and we went to Wal-Mart for a bit. I had to strongly resist the temptation to buy both The Prince and Me and 13 Going On 30. *sighs* Oh well. This movie business has me really depressed lately, it sucks. I haven't bought a movie in quite a while. Anyways... after Wal-Mart we came back here and watched TV and Ethan helped me do the dishes and pick up the living room. Then we left here a little after 4 to head to Gregory Lake. When we got there we had to wait for almost an hour to get our 4-wheelers because there were out of gas and the loser going to get the gas drove from Drakesboro to Central City. Once we were up and going we had so much fun, even in the rain. Ethan's 4-wheeler didn't have brakes and Jason's golf cart (they only had 2 4-wheelers) went everywhere our 4-wheelers did. There were all kinds of trails in the woods and everything, it was a load of fun!! We rode for 2 hours then we went to eat Chinese with dad and Ethan. After we ate Jason and I decided to stop by and see a movie, so we saw Open Water. It was ok, definitely different, but considering I slept through half of it... ya know! :)
Yesterday I got my nails done, finally. Then I paid some bills and worked my first 2nd shift. At first I was really nervous because I was working with people I'd never worked with before, but it was fun. Everyone said I done really good. I was on the radio a lot and answered several 911 calls. It made me a lot more comfortable in myself by being there, being busy, and doing ok. *sighs* I think I've found what I'm good at. Heather showed me a lot of new things on LINK. There are a lot of things on there but it's all pretty much self explanatory.
I'm outta here now ... I'm gonna go watch Dawson's Creek and try to find something to eat.
