good week!

I had a good week and I feel the need to document it!
Saturday: work (yuck). Then Arts Festival with Erin where we left with nothing (what?! that's never happened before!). Almost left with about 3 dogs and 4 cats, though.
Sunday: Father's Day with the fam. We went on a Gateway Clipper cruise and ate at Buca di Beppo (YUM!). It was fun. Two scary moments, though: One when my mom was having trouble walking through Station Square. I don't like seeing my parents looking and acting older, that's scary. The second was sitting in the restaurant with the four people who have always been there and Warren. I just kept thinking, "where did he come from?!" It is so strange that one day there is just a new person added to my family and I had absolutely no say in it. It feels weird, but somehow it fits.
Monday: Work (yuck). Then some baby time! Beverly needed to get out of the house, so I went over her house to spend some time with the kiddos. When the hubby came home we ditched the kids and went to the Maxi Saver theater where I picked "Vacancy." A couple of hours later, I was apologizing profusely for my pick. The ending can ruin an entire movie. After saying goodnight to the kids, I promptly got stuck in over an hour of parkway traffic, because construction at night can be just as inconvenient as construction during the day.
Tuesday: Just work (yuck). The bright spot of the day was when Beverly told me Katie looked for me as soon as she woke up and kept talking about me. I am completely a fan! :)
Wednesday: Brunch with Joyce, James, and their dad at Cracker Barrel (YUM!). I like her family. It was nice to see James. Then POISON concert with Erin and Shaun. Poison rocks! :) Side note: boys are stupid. They pee in the woods and play air guitar.
Thursday: Work (yuck). A not-so-surprising email waiting in my inbox. I don't think that boys get the bond that exists between girlfriends, they also don't seem to get that girls talk. Silly boys! Suppose to have a hang-out night with Bridgette, but she can't seem to keep the members of her family out of the hospital, poor girl is stressed out.
Friday: Kennywood day! I wasn't really all that excited about going, but I had fun. Joyce, James, Josh's dad Tony, and three kids (Zion's grown about 5 feet since I last saw him). Kennywood is fun with kids. We rode a couple of water rides, I did the turtle with James and the kids. I did The Racers with Amanda, The Jackrabbit with the blond kid (don't even know his name, but he wanted to ride with me), and the Thunderbolt with Joyce. Riding with 6 year olds take the stress out of roller coasters, I actually enjoyed them! I let Amanda drive our bumper car and I think I am going to be sore tomorrow. It was a BEAUTIFUL day! No humidity, sunny skies (in PITTSBURGH!), and about 78 degrees. We left and had dinner at Red Robin (YUM) and said goodbye to James and Zion (hopefully only for a couple months when I, God-willing, will be California-bound!). I was supposed to go to play scrabble tonight with Beverly and Chelle, but I am EXHAUSTED and I would suck at it, so I am watching E! for no reason.
Saturday: Tomorrow is Steeler ticket day. Going to try my best to get my hands on a couple of tickets. Then a little bit of work (yuck) and then "1408" with Joyce and Sha'Vonne. Marcy and Warren are having a cookout, but I've seen the house and I will miss half of the cookout anyway because of work, so I'm skipping it.

I like this summer!
