big decision
Tonight out of the blue when talking with Andy about money, upcoming expenditures, and things we want to save for, he mentioned he wanted to talk to me about something hes been thinking about but it would cost 7to10k. At first I thought he wanted a new Harley or another used truck,but i didnt ask that. instead i simply asked what he had in mind.....a vasectomy reversal! He asked how i felt about the idea and I paused for a minute and told him that honestly I would need to think about it because I've had it in my mind so long that we wouldnt have children. he told me to really think about it becaue its something he wants and his fears about having another child have subsided. he even told me about the reseach he has read...he can produce sperm (tmi) in as little as 3mos after reversal and have 80% shot of pregnancy, or it could take a year. Roughly 10% of reversals dont produce viable sperm. i started reading some success stories and my mom knows of someone who had success with it and got preg with twins (as do i, in my lj friend Mary!) so right now im just trying to re-envision my life plan to ascertain if thats what i want.......he wants to do it soon if we do follow through but not try until right before or after the weddi g. thoughts or advice????
