lasik report
I had lasik at 1pm today.
A couple of folks said it would hurt. It didn't.
Right after surgery, my eyes were irritated about as much as they are at the end of a day of wearing my contacts (which is quite irritated; verging on painful but not - why I don't just wear contacts) and my vision was pretty blurry.
7 hour later, my eyes feel like I just had a good cry, or just cut onions and have finally stopped crying and the burning is gone - about the way they felt with teh evil contacts in - and I can see with only a little bit of blurryness/halo, about the same as at the end of a day wearing my
contacts.
And, I don't really care about it, because they gave me a whole valium at noon, so I slept all afternoon and am still dopey. Yay, valium.
