I owe y'all a nice long update, so consider this the promise of an update coming soon. It's been a surprising, stressful, and hectic week and a half in middle school teaching land, staff-wise, and my hallway is being hit hard with various illnesses- kids absent, teachers absent, me trying to keep up my streak of not missing a day of work since 2010 despite the fact that my head wants to explode. I took a 5-hour nap this evening, but 6 AM's still going to come too early. On the upside, my kiddos this semester are SMART, smart, smart for days, nice, goofy, nerdy and simply amazing for the most part.
