hey everyone
So I haven't written in my journal in a long time. Things are going well here. Most of the kids I teach actually enjoy my lessons. I have a few lesson groups in which I have trouble engaging ALL the students, but I guess that comes with the "first year of teaching and how to figure it out" category. Paras and I are in the process of picking out a house or an apartment to live in because he's moving here mid December. I can't wait to finally be in the same location as Paras and just be around him more often. I do love living with Melissa and Gavin, though, and it's nice to come home to some good people, especially when I was sick for 2 weeks (yeah fun times--first strep, then sinus infection, then a bronchitis-sounding cough). I hope everyone is doing well, or from some of the journal entries I've read, are at least surviving their tough first year of teaching-good luck! Take care everyone and keep in touch!
