The Mulch is on Fire

The woody ground covering around the bushes outside my building is smoldering away. No actual flames or anything like that, but definitely smoke of some kind. A nice student called UC Dispatch and let them know. There is a police officer outside with a water bottle doing his civic duty. This seriously cracks me up. He is ferrying water from a water fountain down the hall and around the corner, one bottle at a time.

Ah... UC, how I will not miss thee when I am gone.
