I finally started packing. Not a great deal yet, just most of my CD:s and wrapping papers, Christmas decorations, and silver. It's a start, anyway. I also went shopping for groceries, because I was clean out of everything. And I corresponded with the grant application people, and now I've at least got proper instructions for how to write it, and what to include. It's interesting to see what people get grants for, because of course the subjects of their research can be extremely obscure to a layman...
One of my favourite things about planning is making lists, and I made some today. It helps me to see what I need to do, to have it written down, and it's especially gratifying to cross off the things I've already accomplished:). Now I look forward to crossing of lots of things by the end of this week: everything about the grant application, some stuff concerning computers, and something about moving, if nothing else, then more packing, and the friends and family to help me pack and move. I don't really have all that much stuff, and I ought to be able to pack on my own, but I still get tired, and it's nice to have company. It also makes for a more leisurely pace, with breaks for tea and sandwiches.
I don't have the energy to answer any questions tonight, because I've had a long day. Maybe next week...
moving house,
what i did today
