This has been one of those days, when things didn't go like I planned at all. To begin with, the bus I took to my parents came early, but it took forever to get to my destination, so I was a bit late. We had dinner and talked. This visit was short, because I went to see my cousin's new appartment. The other guests couldn't come, so I'll probably meet them next week instead. It was a lovely visit anyway, and the place looks really nice. There's so much room to walk about, compared to my place, that it was almost bewildering at first. Baby is growing fast and she's a month old today. She's so serene when she's not hungry, and she's starting to look more like herself and less like Everybaby. I'm bad at noticing differences in how people look, and especially babies. They are all precious and cute, but it takes a while before I can really see the features that separate them from each other. This baby has very soft, dark hair and a lovely profile. I'm sure she will grow up to be pretty. On the way home, I missed the bus I was aiming for, but instead I met another friend of mine, quite by chance, since I wasn't even at the bus-stop where I had gone originally, but walked a bit further. It was a lucky coincidence, I was glad to have some company:).
Victoria, the Crown Princess of Sweden, had her baby some days ago, and the mite already has a name: Estelle. I've been following Victoria's life a bit, since she's only a couple of years older than me, and I was interested in her even as a little girl. I'm happy for her, since her life seems to have taken a turn for the better after her struggles with anorexia and heartbreaks. She married a commoner, and they seem to be very well suited for each other.
It's been quite a long day for me, with an unusual amount of exercise. I feel tired, but in a good way. And luckily, there's nothing more to do today. So here I am, sipping tea with orange and mango flavour. It's such a summery taste for a snow day. Though the day didn't turn out like I thought, it was better this way. It's often the same, I notice. But I can't help planning and thinking ahead, and when things turn out the way I planned - well, it's either an accomplishment or a learning experience. See you tomorrow!
