i don't want your foot money

I'm having crazy problems with my ears. They're telling me it's allergies and that's fine but good god, when will it end??? It just hurts and it is itchy and annoying.

I have been capping/rewatching season 2 of TO. Yeah. There is no bad here. And, um, I liked the finale. If I had a rock, I'd totally put a suck on this note on it.

I'm going to miss Toby. I'll definitely miss his interactions with Michael. D. is completely heartbroken and wore his Dunder Mifflin HR shirt the next day. Aw, see, that's why I adore him.

I really liked Amy Ryan/Holly and I hope that she'll be able to be around next year, at least for a little while.

I'm still having problems with Jan being pregnant. I think everyone thinks the proposal stuff was extremely sitcom-y and over-the-top but for me, the pregnancy plot was obvious and then it was just mean. I'll remain on the fence until they convince me it's a good idea.

While rewatching "The Client" the other night, I felt like a complete loser for forgetting that Jim and Pam had fireworks on their "first date". That made me feel better about his ordering them because before that I was like uh, what now? Who is this couple? I will agree that I think they should have been on the roof BUT at the same time, they were far enough away from everyone and he wasn't announcing it to everyone like Andy did. It WAS a quiet moment between them.

And to get a little personal, I feel for Pam. My heart breaks for her. I KNOW what that is. To hope for it and really believe it's going to happen...it just hurts. And so her being that upset? Yup, I buy it and I know it. It was realistic to me because I live it every day. There's a part of me that feels it might be too soon for them but on the flip side of that, they've been dancing around each other for years and I do believe they are completely in love and want to be together. AND with his joke proposals and all that, to have it NOT happen would have me upset, too.

But then again, I'm the girl that hopes that one day her boyfriend will actually want to marry her and make all this legit. AND although I revealed a few weeks ago that I love weddings and all the dresses, big crazy-put-me-in-debt-for-the-rest-of-my-life affairs, do nothing for me. I'd rather go to city hall get married and have a nice party afterwards. I think he's paranoid about the money it's going to take because I think he thinks I need all that but I don't care. I just want to be with him. And end random tangent. (I obviously have lots to work out in this arena and I pretty much keep it all bottled up and so you must suffer through.)

AND then there's Dwangela. Whatever. I loved it.

I have been on a massive Supernatural kick. I really enjoyed this year and I think I'm even starting to warm up to Jared (I'm sorry, lostt1!). I rewatched s1 and I bought s2 as it was on sale at amazon. I can't say I was particularly suprised by the ending - I'm looking forward to exploring Sam getting Dean out of hell next year. I think it'll make for a really good story.

I'm not really involved in fandom but apparently, everyone hated Bella and Ruby? I never understand these things.

HIMYM s2 was also on sale so I can watch that this weekend. I will also be bringing them out to tlace so we'll marathon that and she will finally see the greatness that is HIMYM. So...did anything else happen other than Barney loving Robin? I was on drugs for the allergies and almost missed it but, really, nothing else happened except THAT LOOK. I squealed so loudly, I scared my cat away. NPH OWNS ALL. The end.

So I've stuck with Ugly Betty for reasons I'm still trying to figure out. They've almost completely ruined Christopher Gorham for me which is HORRIBLE AND BLASPHEMOUS but OMG, I hate Henry now. I hate Henry and Betty now. Me sad. I am however LOVING Gio and this is one of those manipulative shows and I kind of dislike that but I'm totally crushing on Freddie Rodriguez and his shaved head. He's actually QUITE adorable. And whoever the high school coach is...Eddie Cibran or something? I know I've seen him before...he's hot and I totally love him and Hilda together. Everything else has been so-so. I haven't watched the finale yet.

I also haven't watched the Moonlight finale yet. Knowing it's cancelled, it doesn't make me spur into action. Oh well.

OH! My job is making me take a 12-week public speaking course that runs every Tuesday night from 6-9:30. That will be fun and I suspect I will be in the BEST of moods!

I never share music - mostly because I don't usually listen to anything new and I'm always behind. But I went and bought some "new" things and thought I would share :)

Alexi Murdoch - Time Without Consequence

Vampire Weekend

Rachel Yamagata - Happenstance

Alexi is slooooowwww but I still like it. There are some songs that are just, well, kind of annoying, but the good ones outweigh the bad. I am digging Vampire Weekend. It is such a drive with the windows down and the radio loud kind of CD. And Rachel - Rachel's Fiona but more romantic. And I always love that.

We're going to Mom's for the weekend (or some of it) to see Indy! They're moving back home so I'm very happy that they've worked everything out AND are coming back down here. I can't wait to have my mom back.

Have a great (long for some of us) weekend!
