This weekend was a blur. I need a four-day weekend, I think. Of course, 4 days would soon not be enough.
We went to Rustic Kitchen for D.'s bday. It was delicious - a little too pricey for us normally but it was his birthday so why not? We also went to a Wizard of Oz themed bday party for a friend's mom and we had a good time. Unfortunately, I kind of really dislike Oz and all of its inhabitants - especially that damn lion with his stupid permed hair and bow. SERIOUSLY! He's a LION and thus should not have A PERM AND A BOW!!! In any event, D. got drunk. And I mean DRUNK. It was interesting.
I just went over to fanfiction.net to try and find some FNL fic and it was just too ad crazy. When did that happen? It's horrible. *kicks*
I finally, finally finished my 100 Buffy/Spike icons at btvsicons100. That was something! I remember back when the first icons100 started and I was like Oh, I can totally do that! And then I totally didn't. I was determined this time. So, I feel good that it's done. Now I can focus all kinds of crazy fangirl energy on FNL!
I think I'm done with MSS - which is insane and weird for me but I'm not sure I like it at all...which is why it's taken, uh, 3 years for an update? I don't know...I'm so far removed from Buffy AU fic and I'd rather just go write canony stuff. But I hate having WIPs and I'd rather finish it off then to start anything new (with the exception of tlace's xmas present). There are just other stories I'd like to tell but I feel I shouldn't until I finish and start LR again. OR maybe I should just not write anymore! That would solve all my problems!
