I finally (!!!) received my 90210 in the mail yesterday. How long did I complain about it not being released and then it was and I didn't get it until now? I am soooooooooooo excited. I can not even wait to watch "Spring Dance". BF and I spent the first 1/2 hour of the work day just remembering all the good times.
I bought D. the Motley Crue book and a Whitesnake DVD so that made him happy. But he was like I have never seen you this insane before. And I had to remind him that he wasn't around during the Buffy days and I think he saw me insane when we went to he Fiona concerts because yeah, nutso for that girl. But I was just jumping up and down and I'm like this is my teen-aged years in a box! It's my first fandom. It's the first OMG, I LOVE TV and Dylan is my tv boyfriend. The first fic I ever read was a parody that was the funniest thing I have ever read in my life. I wish I still had it. I bought TIES and wore them because Brenda did. I cut my hair off when Kelly cut her hair off (although, I did not become a cokehead for a day). Cowboy boots, people! COWBOY BOOTS. All for the love of 90210.
Aaaaaandrea and Steve TOTALLY went to high school. Dylan never needed a hair plugs. Brenda was an excellent actress who, I'm sure, found fame and fortune on the London stage. And Kelly chose HERSELF, damn it!
Really, how can you not love this? The writing is SUPERB! The acting even better!
