two times!

I may be the last person ever to know about this site but I haven't been around the web much lately. And I found it when I was reading some recap of GA over at twop...Anyhoo, I love that the writers have a blog and that they're just as freaked out by the last couple of episodes as we are. And here's a big difference in what it means when the creator of a show cares about what people are saying and when one sits in her walk-in hat closet and starts cackling maniacally about how stupid we've been to believe that a certain couple may actually EVER be friggin' happy!

I'm okay, really.

But can I just reiterate that the more I think about GG and ASP, the angrier I become. I feel worse than I did when Buffy and Angel went down hill. I feel way more stabbed in the back than I ever did then. At least Joss was like "Hey, I have cowboys in space"...ASP is just being a selfish cow. Holding characters hostage for contract negotiations is just terribly inconsiderate to all of us who have been watching and hoping and yay! final-ing for six years. Thanks, Amy. A big huge thanks from me to you.

Sure, GA is still new and it obviously has its problems. By no means is it a perfect show but when you see writers take the time to come out and talk to the fans, like they all did on Buffy and Angel...sigh, Drew Goddard, Jane Espenson...how I miss you...it really makes us feel special and makes them look really good. And after a while, the excitement that their show is a success will start to wane and blogging will dwindle to a sometimes thing but at least they're doing something now. Communicating with us, answering comments and questions. I love that. It makes me happy to be a fangirl of something that actually deserves it. That actually seems to appreciate it.

So, basically, what I'm saying is? Suck it, ASP.

And I need a new icon because I'm not really feeling the Mere/McDreamy vibe right now. Paging, Dr. Burke. Mmm-hmm.
