curiousity didn't kill my cat
I hardly ever listen to the radio or watch MTV or VH1 anymore. So all this really good new music that comes out, I don't have a clue about. But after hearing about and seeing all sorts of icons with their lyrics on them, I went out and bought myself Something Corporate. I haven't listened to it yet and there were two there so I just bought one of them. I figure everyone gave them a thumbs up so I might as well check them out. See how much trust I have? Also bought STP Greatest Hits, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Jet. I hardly ever buy music with only knowing one song or no songs but I was feeling daring last night. As much as I love them, you can only listen to Fiona, Staind, R.E.M., Hole, etc. so many times before you just need to turn them off.
I also bought Boy Meets Girl because I adored Boy Next Door. Tears from laughing so hard. Love it. Love Meg. Love books you can just relate to (boss from hell, boyfriend who wants to live in the now and not worry about the future, etc.)
I believe I'm being karmically spanked for the extra onions ploy on the new lady. I keep getting onions on things when I ask for none. Awesome. She's on vacation this week but somehow has still managed to be a thorn in my side.
Icons later, I think. Need to start work on the last chapter of MSS, need to update fanlistings desperately, especially Ethan, need to upload Ted and Revelations, read Spanish books I bought the other day, and work on graphic.
No, what I need is a vacation. Note to self: fill out vaca request form for 18th and 19th.
