nice, boring and snowy weekend
I'm beginning to be the laziest person on the planet. It's starting to bug me. Anyway...watched season 5 and I have to say I'm a little disappointed in the lack of commentaries. I was hoping for "The Gift" but nope (which I'm sure everyone already knows but I like to surprise myself with the extras...funny how I'm usually disappointed). I was strangely upset that they took out the 2 second 100 episode overview at the beginning of TG. I don't know why they took it out. That was one of my favorite parts of the whole thing. So all I can say is thank god for Doug Petrie and his "Fool For Love" commentary. Makes it worth it. He makes me giggle. The bloopers were funny, the featurettes were decent...eh, whatever.
Very good. Waited 2 1/2 years for kissage and they give us a 30 second kiss and 15 seconds of post coital bliss. To say I feel cheated would be an understatement. And is that it? Goodbye Will? They can't do that to me! I mean, alright...if you're going to make Syd pine over Vaughn some more...fine, whatever. But at least bring back one normal and grounding thing in her life...you know, Will. It's bullshit. It's idiotic bullshit.
Yay for snow...boo for the fact that I have the busiest week coming up and won't even be able to think straight nevermind do anything for myself. We have the wine event tomorrow, cleaning day on Wednesday, Holiday party Thursday, breakfast on Friday...and then I'm probably going to my mom's for the weekend if it isn't snowing because I'm all set with driving up the mountain in a snow storm. Did it once last year, will never do it again. I finally finished The Freshman caps. Jesus that took forever...542 total. Grr. "City of..." next. Thank god, Tlace is so understanding about these things :)
