Wreck, Ice Cream Hell, and Passion...
Hey yall! Sorry, its been awhile but I just wanted to update on my weekend...boy, was it BUSY!!! Lets just start with Friday and move on from there...ok, Wes came home this weekend and he met me in Carrollton and we drove home together (in separate cars). We went to Starbucks to go see Susan and when we were leaving, this guy wasnt paying attention and rear ended me. I was SO upset. This was my 3rd one and I'm just tired of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The first one was my fault but the last 2 werent. Then, I had to be at work at 5 and I didnt get home until about 11:30 or so...WE WERE SO BUSY!!!! I like working there and all but when you dont have enough people to run the store on a Friday night, it really bites. Onto Saturday...I took the day off so Wes and I could spend some time together and so that we could see each others' families.Wes got up and went and got us tickets to go see "Passion of The Christ" and then he came to get me about 2 hours early so he could spend time with my brothers and sisters. It was such a pretty day outside so we played outside with them after my parents got back from their motocycle ride. We got to the movies and saw an AWESOME movie!!! I recommend it to EVERYBODY!! It was so good, it didnt seem like it was 2 and a half hours long at all. Its so different actually seeing what you have read and been taught for years and then seeing it with your own eyes. Its really awesome to be honest with you. Then, after the movie, we went to Wes's house for dinner. Dinner was great, his dad made chicken for me since I'm so DANG picky but it was really good. And then, they got a new puppy and he is SO CUTE!!!! I wanted to take him home with me but there was no way they were letting me, I just want a puppy for me!! His name is Duke and he is adorable. After we had dessert, Wes took me home and I went to bed. Today, Wes left to go back to Alabama REALLY early cause he had to be at church. As for work, it was H-E-L-L. The crew leader that closed last night (Saturday night) left the store a DISASTER. She left a note telling me everything that she didnt do and that our registars were acting funny. OK, SINCE I KNOW HOW TO FIX THE DANG REGISTARS!!!!!! I was so mad. I called our boss and told him and I had to call Jessica to come help me and then she told Kelley how horrid the store looked so I hope he demotes her from being crew leader. She acts like shes better than her crew and that when its time to close, that all her job is to count the money and her crew has to do EVERYTHING else and thats not how it goes AT ALL. Anyway, so my morning sucked. We were busy out the butt, I kid you not and once again, did I have a crew AT ALL?!?!?! No, I was the ONLY person scooping and crew leading until 3. I had to get our ice cream maker to help me cause the line was so long and I had to call people in. It was terrible. Hopefully, now that the weather is getting warmer, Kelley will get back into his summer schedule making mode. I just dont understand cause its so much easier to send people home than to call someone in. I would just schedule too many people and then send them home if they arent needed-simple as that I tell you. Anyway, I got home and watched my brothers and sister while my mom and dad went to the Atlanta Harley place. AND I rode the motorcycle today. It was just around the neighborhood but it was still fun, I dont know that I want to be around cars yet but I still had a good time! Anyway, I guess thats about it. Just busy, thats about it. Drew's birthday is Wednesday, he'll be 10, big double digits man!! Anyway, I'm out for now! HOLLA!!!
