+ I've had a pretty uneventful, but good, week. Work-wise, I got myself over the limit of vacation hours that I can hold without using them, so I took of Tuesday, yesterday, half of Wednesday and half of today to use them up. And unless I take another week straight off (not really feasible at the moment given the projects I have going), I'm going to have six vacation hours to kill every two weeks until I get back under my limit. Which is ... nice, really. Kind of wish I had somewhere to go and some cash to go there with, but you know, it's good to have the time to take and get things done. Also, yesterday was GORGEOUS and I didn't spend a minute of it at work so yay for that.
+ ALSO I'm getting my tax money back ridiculously fast considering when I filed, which is ACES. It's not vacation money, but I at least have some change to jingle around, a little to save, buy some toys and clothes, and just breathe a little bit.
+ Alice in Wonderland this weekend, FINALLY.
+ Being a grown-up sucks but we have been over this.

It's got some problems for sure, and might not be everyone's cuppa, but there's an undercurrent of resentment in feminist critiques especially, IDK. And in their haste to tear it down they're bringing fail in other areas. The Feministe article's particularly bad though.
