this is interesting.
one of the weirder elements of the upcoming movie is the idea that the "Crimebusters" group from the comic actually became a mildly successful superteam called the "Watchmen". I know it's meant to beat the name of the movie into the minds of the mainstream movie-goer (the name of the comic obviously coming from a bastardized version of the old latin phrase, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" that permeated the consciousness of the fictional Watchmen world around the time of the Keene Act (what was it in the timeline, 1977?). Anyway, that's the only thing in this cool little viral video that really looked out of place to me. Sure some of the costumes look a bit cheesy... (Veidt is SO Batman and Robin)... but you know me... i can't help but want to see this movie.
