I was supposed to go out to the Eagle tonight because Paul's roommate is in some kind of "leather contest". But I found out that Paul isn't going, so as far as I know there won't be any people there at all other than his roommate, who I don't actually know well and who will be busy doing whatever it is that leather contestants do. So I decided to stay in. I do miss Kansas City. When we move home I'm going out to the Dixie Belle every weekend with friends - Yana Boré or Scott A. or Jason or somebody - unless of course there's a full moon or something and we all have other plans.
But overall this has been a good day. The holiday gift shopping went better than I'd hoped. Most of that is out of the way now. It was a beautiful day out, and Scott was actually very helpful in choosing presents for people (which isn't typical for him). But Wal-Mart still hasn't put out their holiday cards. They're playing holiday music and have shelves and shelves of snowmen-and-santa crap, and the toy department has tripled in size, but no cards. I think I may have to take
kaote's suggestion and drive down south to pick up some cards from Half Price Books. If I can find the place.
