sorry for no LJ cut. I don't have the power...
Things I could be doing:
-Studying for a final. I have two more to take.
-Finishing up a short paper I have to write & post to my eportfolio for my teaching math class.
-Working on stuff for The Avenue.
-- Making phone calls to members.
-- Working out a song list.
-- Scheduling a practice.
-- Scouting out prospects.
-Doing anything productive.
What I am doing instead:
-Wasting time.
-Wishing it wasn't Monday.
-Obsessively checking and rechecking Xanga, because I have nothing else to do.

And now the +/- of this past weekend.
+ Friday was the last day of classes
- This week is Finals
+ Ben and Nicole came over on Friday
+ We had a picnic
++ We had good food, weather, company, and conversation at said picnic.
- We were attacked by gnats at one point.
+ We got to go to the party for unknown Leslie at Jen and Ashley's.
- I didn't really know anyone there, same goes for Leslie, Ben and Nicole.
+ I got to talk to Brett about The Avenue
+ I got to witness the amazing creation that is Rowsby (sp?) , who is Micah from the KATE office's Yorkshire Terrier puppy.
- There were people that weren't at the party that I was hoping might be, BECAUSE I MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY!
+/- We went home, but we got some Lemon Icebox pie and a viewing of The Phantom of the Opera.
- We failed at X-men.
+ We won at great conversation.
+ + Ashley and Alison randomly came by my parent's house to show us their prom attire on Sat. night.
+ I got to hang out with my brother and sis-in-law, AND Cassie & Matt on Saturday night.
+ We went to Hananoki, and had a blast!
+ We played arcade games at the movies to waste time.
+ We watched The Interpreter.
+ It's really cool to get to hang out w/my brother and his wife, now that they moved back to the area.
+ Mother's Day was fun and family-filled.
- My nephew, Jonathon, is sick and has to take nasty breathing treatments.
+ Jonathon is learning how to open and close doors. He practiced entering and exiting etiquette for all of us at Nana's yesterday. It consisted of about 10 minutes of him closing the front door on himself saying "bye bye". Then a few seconds pass. Then we hear him say "Knock knock" when he knocks on the door and enters the house again.
+ My nephew is the coolest.
+ Leslie's dad got to come home from his job for Mother's Day.
+ We got to visit with Leslie's family all late afternoon/evening yesterday.
- - - - - (That's a lot of minuses) The weekend is over.
WHEW. That was a lot. Perhaps I should condense.........nah.
