#1 spacer. I can't go the cue-ball route, my head sticks to things like velcro. I'd never be able to get out of bed.

I think i'm a #3 on the top, #2 on the sides.

I'd like to go shorter, but haven't tried it yet.

I used to do the #3 because anything shorter scared me. Then I just went to the #1 and it wasn't a big deal. The benefit is that I can go longer without cutting it before it looks shaggy. The downside is that I trim my beard at the same time, which grows a bit faster, so by the time I'm ready to shave my head, I look like a scraggly mountain man.
