I use Picasa's downloadable manager thinger to organize mine, and it's pretty handy! Leaves everything where it is but displays chronologically with thumbnails. It also does FACE RECOGNITION how cool is that?!

Also, urban trails! Wow, that sounds great :)

beautiful! i organize by date, because that's the only way i can think of to do it. i use pictures posted to lj as a reference.
