It's obvious I never read girly magazines when I was younger
And I still don't!
While everyone's still pondering the music question, I have another for you. This one's for the ladiez.
I am doing my makeup myself, but I don't really know the finer points. My daily makeup consists of (in this order): oil free liquid foundation, compressed powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, blush, and mascara. All Nutregena brand because they're one of very few companies that sell makeup (at Target) for pale people. This works well for me, but I need my makeup to last all day. My current makeup regimen does not last all day. So what should I do? Loose powder? Layers of loose powder? Different foundation? I'm clueless here. I want it to look natural. More me and less prom queen, but I want it to last and not get oily after 4 hours.
In other wedding news, my fabulous flower wholesaler was able to get dahlias and I am SO HAPPY about this!!!! I am more happy about it than one really should be. They're just flowers and a rather mundane detail. I have tried so very hard to steer myself away from the Wedding Industrial Complex, but damn it I LOVE dahlias. The wholesaler was convinced he couldn't get them in September, because they have to be shipped in and they never look right after all that traveling. I was sad, but I settled on something that would suffice. Well I went by today to place my order for something else, and lo there were dahlias in the cooler!!! He'd found a guy in New Jersey that had them available for only a month, he shipped them in by train, and they looked great. OMG Dahlias!!!! I am superpumped now. For srs.
Also, doven , jigglykat , and basalt , where are you staying? Do I need to come get you or are you renting a car? Is everyone leaving on Monday? I am trying to organize. I am working Monday, so if you're not renting a car we'll have to figure something out to get you back to the airport. I think it's really funny that this is the easiest way to communicate with all 3 of you.

Uh oh, and now there's pups. She was eyeing a fly in the window.
Jet wasn't nearly as concerned about the fly.
